Leah founded Reaching Back, Inc. with a conviction shaped by personal experience: seniors and the people who care for them deserve clear answers, a trusted voice and help finding their next step.
It Began With Nana.
At 23, Leah became a caregiver for her 72 year old grandmother, affectionately known as Nana. That responsibility gave her a firsthand understanding of the questions families face when someone they love needs care, support and a safe place to call home.
Years later, the urgent needs of another older woman moved Leah to establish Reaching Back. What began with a commitment to help seniors age with dignity has grown into a broader mission: connecting seniors, caregivers and families to information, advocacy, vetted referrals and people who can help them move forward.
Leah brings more than 38 years of real estate experience to this work. Her professional life has centered on housing and relationships, while her experience as a caregiver keeps the mission personal. She understands that a question about a home can also be a question about safety, independence, finances or whom to trust.
One Trusted Place To Start.
Under Leah’s leadership, Reaching Back is entering a new chapter as a senior information, advocacy and referral hub for Memphis and the MidSouth. The organization listens to concerns, helps families understand their options and connects them with appropriate community resources and qualified professionals.
Her vision calls for strong partnerships across housing, healthcare, legal services, financial guidance and everyday support. When a senior or caregiver does not know who to call, Reaching Back aims to be the first call that leads to a useful answer.
